As the social media editor for politics, Abby develops, scripts and produces vertical videos to broaden the reach of NBC News’ political coverage.

She coaches reporters, correspondents and embeds on scripting and filming vertical video and serves as a resource to them for getting their original reporting in front of new audiences. She routinely coordinates with reporters in the field and provides guidance on what questions they should ask voters and lawmakers to give social audiences the fullest picture of the current political moment.

In addition to bespoke social-first videos, Abby regularly oversees and executes roll-outs of high-profile interviews and breaking politics news on vertical video platforms like TikTok.
